Under the bonnet of the subaru STI type RA, the inlet manifold has been modded to take a front entry intake pipe, the reason for this is to reduce turbo lag as the cold air is forced through the massive front mount intercooler.The power steering pump and the battery have both been moved from the engine bay to the boot of the car, to allow for the extra room needed for the intake pipe mod.
